Hi there. My name's Catherine and I live in Indiana.  I'm a graduate of Indiana University where I studied Linguistics and Spanish.  My main line of work has involved teaching high schoolers, but I'm continuing to explore different career possibilities. 

I'm a movie buff, so I'm sure many of my articles will be about particular movie favorites and also how films are made.  I'm a big animal lover and spend as much time volunteering at a local animal shelter as possible.  In particular, I try to stay very knowledgeable about cats since I have three of my own.

Other interests include (and will probably determine common Hub topics of mine): cooking and recipes, languages and linguistics, teaching lessons, books, animal advocacy, relationships, psychology, science/nerdy things in general, and societal and cultural issues.
